ROGERS, Ark. — VFW Post 3031 of Rogers is proud to announce the beginning stages of a special project aimed at improving the quality of life for veterans residing at the new Veterans Home currently under construction in Rogers, Arkansas.

Members of the Post are working to build a fishing pond at the facility, creating a peaceful outdoor space where veterans can relax, connect with others, and enjoy recreational activities during the summer months. Recognizing that many veterans living in care facilities have limited opportunities for outdoor recreation, VFW Post 3031 has made a strong commitment to giving these veterans a place to fish, spend time together, and enjoy the outdoors.

Although the pond project is still in the early stages, Post members are already making significant progress and plan to share photos and updates with the community in the near future.

VFW Post 3031 is also proud to announce a partnership with The Source, located in downtown Rogers at 4505 W. Poplar Street. The Source has generously agreed to support the project by matching all tips received during the fundraiser period. The Post encourages the community to come out, support local businesses, and help make a lasting difference in the lives of local veterans.

Community members who would like to see the progress firsthand or make a donation are invited to visit VFW Post 3031, located at 11160 N. Old Wire Road, Rogers, Arkansas.

VFW Post 3031 appreciates the continued support of the Rogers community and looks forward to providing a meaningful and lasting recreational space for the veterans who have served our country.
