Rocky River Soccer Organization

Rocky River Soccer Organization Founded in 1979, Rocky River Soccer Organization (RRSO) offers travel soccer to Rocky River residents ages 7 - 14.

Our sole purpose is to provide our players with an opportunity to play soccer at competitive levels against teams from other area communities. We participate in the American Amateur Soccer League (Boys) and Northern Ohio Girls Soccer League (Girls) along with about 25 other communities subject to League established rules and procedures. Our community based organization is guided by our board of di

rectors, which is made up of parents and community leaders interested in promoting the game of soccer in Rocky River.

We are proud of our RRSO Coach and Board member Katie McCann who, along with other coaches, successfully completed the 1st ever, 2025–2026 OHTSL Coach Leadership Council, demonstrating a 10-month commitment to their growth as leaders!

In early May, the coaches gathered for a final workshop and dinner, where they shared presentations highlighting key takeaways, inspiring moments, and ways they have already begun applying their learning in their coaching environments.

The evening also included the presentation of certificates, recognizing the dedication, effort, and growth each coach demonstrated throughout the journey.

Congratulations to all of the coaches, as well as the communities that supported them along the way. The council, let by OHTSL Director of Coaching Marcie Schwartz, was created to expand coaching leadership skills, including team management and player development competencies.
