Join and to learn calligraphy on Friday, October 9th at 7PM! Whether you’re a stationery nerd, spooky party host, or just crafty, this seasonal workshop will introduce you to modern calligraphy with a pointed dip pen & ink. We’ll cover all the basics and prepare you to add unique lettered details to your personal projects 🖋️💌

Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction/demonstration, a beginner calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, 2 letter guides, tracing paper, & straight pen holder), and materials to write on. Oakenmist Renaissance Faire 2026 was a huge success! From the incredible outfits, the vendors, and performers- we had so much fun. A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by, dressed up, shared a few drinks, and helped make the weekend a blast. We loved seeing all of the different characters, styles, and personalities come through- and of course- there was a mead for every person ⚔️ 🍺

And we’re not done yet! Our fellow artisan vendor annalawson808 will be joining us Sunday to host a Halloween themed pottery workshop! Come and get creative! 🦇

The A Shrewdness of Apes (ASOA) show featuring WormWagon knavedc Crazy Apes brought a packed house- nonstop energy, incredible music, and plenty of great mead.
