Good morning RCC Members
The bridge project on #1 will start this week. The project is expected to take (4) weeks to complete, if we don't have any delays from weather. The "Blue" and "White" tee players will tee off then exit the property by turning left on Olympic Dr., we will then return to the course by driving through the vacant lot on the right side of hole #1. All other players will drive down Olympic Dr. and use the vacant lot to get to their tee box.
We look forward to seeing you at The Club this week!!!

Bullet Points from the General Manager
September 2026

THANK YOU MGA – Putting Green Donation

Thank you MGA!!! The RCC MGA has donated $5000 towards the New Putting Green. We can’t begin to express our sincere thanks for your support.

Thank you to all those involved in this decision
Bullet Point – Up-Coming Bridge Project on #1
As many of you know, we have reached a point of concern about the stability of the bridge on #1. After much discussion and research, we have decided to contract with Graham Golf to rebuild the bridge. We expect the process to take (4) weeks excluding any weather delays and they plan to start next week. During this process we will have access to the forward tees and fairway using the vacant lot located on the right side of the fairway off Olympic Dr. As of right now the White and Blue tees will be placed on the tee box closest to Olympic Dr. and all other tees will be in their normal positions. We will provide additional information as the project moves forward

· Bullet Point – Member Golf Tournaments

There has been much discussion and concern expressed about member tournaments hosted by RCC. With such a wide range of skill levels and player ages, the question become what tees are people playing. From an operational standpoint we want to encourage players to play the tees that are most enjoyable, however this does pose a problem when you put the word tournament in front of the round. In fairness, you can’t have a competition using gross scores when the field is playing multiple different courses (different tees). Therefore, the Member / Member will be a Net event only. Ladies will compete against ladies and men against men. The event will be flighted by the teams total combined handicap. As for the Club Championship, we will have (4) Club Champions. Men’s (Blue Tees) and Women’s (Red Tees) and a Senior Club Champion for both Men and Women. We will offer other playing options (White and Gold Flight), but the overall and senior champions must play from the assigned tees for this event. Players must declare prior to the event their intent and which division they wish to compete.

In review of the current course set up, the current Silver Tees are playing about 300-500 yards shorter than the scorecard reflects. In order to get the overall yardage to match the scorecard in total distance, we have re-set the Silver Tees on the following holes: #4, #10, #13 & #18.

Bullet Point – Reservations
As we begin to roll out of the summer months, it’s a good time to remind everyone the importance of making reservations. This includes both golf tee times and dinner reservations. As everyone returns back home the demand will continue to grow over the next few months. A reminder to all, be on the safe side and make your reservations. Same holds true if you can’t make your scheduled time, give us a call and reschedule for another day. This allows someone else to enjoy some time at the club.

· Bullet Point – Dress Code
Difficult conversation but we need everyone to re-visit the club dress code policy for both golf and inside the clubhouse. This is a difficult conversation between the staff and a member or guest when someone shows up out of dress code. Please remind your guests the club will enforce our dress code policies.

Dress Code. It is the club’s intent to reflect an atmosphere that is most inviting to members and guests. Consistent with this intent, the following guidelines shall apply. Members should not confront any other member or guest at the club and make any comments about possible attire non-compliance. Rather, they should discreetly bring the matter to the attention of management on duty and allow management to address the situation.
