Reminder that Herman Fest is RAIN or SHINE so come on out!!! Silent auction and live music INSIDE in the AC! Mark Wainscott Lee and Steve Meuth play at 2:30 and Clayton Adams at 4:00! BBQ chicken and sausage plates for sale starting at 4:00😋 Then the live auction starts at 7:30 and Wyatt Ellis Band at 9:00! The live auction and nighttime music is outside (weather permitting) but the rain should be long gone by then and have cooled things off, too!!😎 Bring a chair and come support Herman Fest!!!💙🎉🇺🇸

Proceeds from HERMAN FEST 2026 will go to Bastrop County Area Go Texan Scholarship Fund and to help with medical expenses for local resident Glenn Lively. ❤️💙
Bastrop Co Area Go Texan Scholarship Fund, in partnership with Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo (HLSR), raises scholarship funds to support Bastrop County seniors seeking to further their education, whether at a 4-year university or trade school. HLSR then annually selects one senior in Bastrop County to receive an additional scholarship directly from the HLSR. All funds raised help form the future of Bastrop County's youth.

Glenn Todd Lively was involved in an accident in mid-June due to suffering a cardiac arrest while driving. He was hospitalized for over 2 weeks and is currently at Brodie Ranch Rehabilitation Center in South Austin. Todd is known for bringing video music bingo to Bastrop County and he also does DJ-ing and karaoke for local venues, including Rockne VFW Post 2527. He has a long recovery ahead and needs assistance with expenses.

Herman Fest will include a silent auction (2:00 to 6:00), a live auction (7:00), plus a BBQ chicken meal starting at 4:00.
