After a lot of thought, I’ve made the difficult decision to close Streter’s Chatt Bar indefinitely, effective immediately.
There are no words that can truly express how grateful I am to this community. Whether you stopped in once or made Chatt your second home, you helped make this little bar into something special. The friendships that were formed, the laughter that filled the room, the stories shared over a cold b**r, and the memories made here are something I’ll carry with me forever.
Owning Streter’s Chatt Bar has been one of the greatest honors of my life. It wasn’t always easy, but it was always worth it because of the people who walked through those doors. You’ve supported me through the highs and lows, and for that I will be forever thankful.
To everyone who came out for bike nights, enjoyed our Deep Fried Pizza, celebrated birthdays, watched the games, played cards, or simply stopped by to say hello—thank you. You made this place what it was. The building may be closing, but the memories never will.
I also want to thank all of my employees, friends, vendors, and everyone who had a hand in making Streter’s Chatt Bar what it became. Your hard work, loyalty, and support never went unnoticed.
While this chapter is coming to an end, I truly hope it isn’t the end of the story. For now, though, it’s time to close the doors and reflect on an unforgettable journey.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for every memory, every laugh, every conversation, and every ounce of support you’ve shown over the years.
