How about a little jazz! We are trying something new this summer. Every 4th Wednesday of the month we will have jazz in the Hauberg Carriage Haus. Bar opens at 4:00 and live jazz will be from 6:00-8:00. Our first Hauberg Summer Nights is on July 22nd, sit outside, enjoy a cocktail and listen to the Tri-Tones Jazz Ensemble from 6:00-8:00, no cover charge, just a relaxing evening at Hauberg Estate.

It’s Friday! It’s going to be a gorgeous day! Hauberg Carriage Haus Bar and Hauberg Stables Gift Shop is open today from 1:00-9:00. The special drink today is an Empress Rose Lychee Spritz. This is the last 25% sale day at the gift shop, so come in and splurge on your dad for Father’s Day. Since is going to be a beautiful day walk down the back driveway and see the lily pads in the pond blooming. Hauberg Happy Hour with Flowers is from 1:00-3:00, play in the dirt and then get that free drink for all your hard work. Mansion tours start at 3:00, $10.00 for adults and students are always free. Passport To Preservation is next Saturday and tickets are selling fast. You can buy tickets on Humanitix https://events.humanitix.com/passport-to-preservation/tickets. We hope you can join us today!

All proceeds go to the Hauberg Children’s Art Garden.

What a week it's been, and just when we need it, Friday arrives - today Hauberg Carriage Haus Bar and Hauberg Stables Gift Shop are open from 1:00-9:00, ready to help you unwind. Our Mango Mule is the perfect companion, and with today being the last day of our sale, everything - hats, blankets, garden art, jewelry - is 25% off, plus an extra 5% discount for our favorite Friends Of Hauberg members. Join Heather for Happy Hour With Flowers from 1:00-3:00, then treat yourself to a free drink at the bar after a productive gardening session. Thank you to the City of Rock Island Government, Public Works, Street Department and our Alderman Dylan Parker for making the decision that Hauberg Estate is an important place to our community. The parking lot is a huge improvement. The public/private partnership with the city is something we all can be proud of 👏.

There is a lot of activity at Hauberg with the new parking lot being put in. They put the oil down today and will asphalt tomorrow. With that being said, there are barricades in every entrance so no vehicles or foot traffic on the parking lot until Friday morning.

Jens Jensen created the Formal Rose Garden when the house was built in 1910. John Hauberg took it down after Susanne died in 1942 and put in ponds. Bob Towler built the bridge and walkways in 1982. In 2023, the park office flooded and was torn down. It was then our vision could come to fruition to put the Formal Rose Garden back. I am not putting all the pictures of the progression (350), but here are some before and after. Enjoy!

It’s officially ready for the wedding reception this weekend, a little more mulch and make sure all the bushes and plants are watered. The last urn was set today. What a project! Oil goes down tomorrow on the parking lot, curbs will be poured and Thursday the asphalt goes down and will be ready to drive on. Hauberg will be all spruced up!
