Shhh… consider this your official permission slip to disappear for a bit. 🍸✨

When the outside world gets a little too loud, we’ll be right here—tucked away in the quiet calm of the speakeasy.

Bring someone you really like, or come solo with a good book and pretend you’re the main character in a vintage mystery novel. We won’t tell a soul. 🤫

A century of wisdom, kindness, and beauty. Elsie is turning 100 years young next month! 💌

Every dish served at Kounter and every cocktail poured at Elsie’s carries a piece of her spirit, as she’s the reason Chef Rob Masone started playing around in the kitchen at a young age. If our space has brought a little joy, comfort, or celebration to your life, sending a card for her 100th birthday is the most wonderful gift you could offer our family in return. ❤️

Let’s show her just how far her warmth reaches.

💌 Send your birthday wishes to:
Elsie McCleskey
c/o Kounter
PO Box 96
Rock Hill, SC 29730

Cards will be presented in person by her loving family durning her 100th birthday celebration on Sunday, September 27th, 2026!

Thank you for helping us celebrate our favorite namesake! 💌

No rush. No chatter. Just standard-setting cocktails in a space built for slowing down. 🥃
