Meet your Summer 2026 Level 1 teachers!

Dan Hopman wants you to know:

“My favorite thing about the arts is how it impacts people. Not all art needs to educate, but it exposes people to different points of view or different cultures. It has saved lives, united people, and started revolutions. The arts are our most powerful weapon.

My level 1 class will be a safe space for people to come and be vulnerable. I will teach the basics with a strong emphasis on supporting each other on stage and having as much fun as possible.”

Another weekend gone in a flash… have no fear- another weekend is coming and this is what’s happening at the theater!!

Join us on Friday for a night of laughs as we showcase a variety of local stand-up comedians, including Lisa Vanderhoff, Shawn Hennessy, Julia Ispentchian, Dakota Hinchman, and hosted by Leo Golia. (Link tagged on slide 2 and also in bio for tickets!)

ReRoll Live! is a high-energy blend of improv comedy, tabletop RPGs, and game show chaos.Three comedians embark on a live, unscripted fantasy adventure led by a Game Master. But when the dice aren’t on their side, they can call for a reroll by pulling an audience member into a fast-paced challenge with cool prizes on the line!

TOMORROW! SUNDAY AT 10 am

The Focus Theater Open Call is a chance for YOU to get in front of show producers, meet like minded players and get a first look at upcoming shows.

The Open Call is, well, open to all improvisers regardless of skill level. Producers for upcoming shows will run exercises to see who is a good fit for their vision. So come on out and strut your stuff!

This Open Call will have a focus on Short Form, so come ready to game!
