A Little Update from Bare Arms Brewing & Six Oaks Texas Kitchen & Brewery! 🍻

It's been a while since we've posted an update. Some days, it feels like not much has happened since our last post. But when we stop and look at everything that's been accomplished, there's actually quite a lot!

The inwall plumbing and electrical is in. The patio roof is installed. Work has started on the foundation for the parking lots and road, and they've built a culvert that rivals the Greig Drive Bridge! If you know, you know! 😂

Friends, we want you to know that we're still here, and we're still pushing forward.

This project has tested us in ways we never imagined. It hasn't broken us yet, but we dig deep every single day to find the determination to keep going and bring this amazing place to life.

We know it's been a long road. Believe us, nobody wants those doors open more than we do! We miss our Bare Arms family, the familiar faces, the laughter, the conversations, and the friendships that made our brewery so special.

What a delight it was to sit down with the beloved Ann Harder on The Ann Harder Show!

Ann is truly a Waco icon! I first met her nearly 10 years ago, and it has been such a pleasure getting to know her over the years. I’m honored to call her a friend.

We had a wonderful conversation about the latest happenings with Bare Arms Brewing, our journey to opening Six Oaks Texas Kitchen & Brewery, and my newest adventure, running for Robinson City Council, Place 6.

Ann has such a special way of bringing people together and sharing the stories of our community.

A huge thank you to Ann for giving me the opportunity to share my story, reflect on the journey, and talk about what’s ahead. I’m grateful for her friendship and all she does to celebrate the people and businesses that make our community so special.

Kevin, Marc and Nick got to share a Bare Arms b**r with the founders of our great Nation. They asked Benjamin Franklin what he'd brought them. He said an IPA ... if you can keep it. He's a funny guy. Happy 250th Birthday, America.

Progress is happening every day!
We're excited to share another construction update from Bare Arms Brewing.
🚧 The roads and parking lots are taking shape.
⚡ Electrical and plumbing are well underway.
🪵 The concrete for our patio deck has been poured, bringing us one step closer to creating an amazing outdoor space for everyone to enjoy.
It's incredible to watch this vision come to life. Thank you for your patience, encouragement, and support throughout this journey. We truly couldn't do it without this amazing community.

Many of you have noticed the "FOR LEASE" sign out front, so we wanted to clear up any confusion.

Don't worry... it's NOT for Bare Arms Brewing! 🍻

The sign is for the three neighboring suites, totaling approximately 3,900 square feet (about 1,300 square feet each).

We're looking for businesses that would complement the brewery and restaurant while creating an even better destination for our community. If you know of a boutique, specialty retailer, artisan business, or another great local concept that would benefit from the traffic we'll bring, we'd love an introduction.

We can't wait to continue building something special together.

With great humility, we share this post.

Normally, we would have rallied everyone with a “get out and vote” campaign and asked for your support. But after being closed for 18 months, we simply could not bring ourselves to ask that of you. Once again, all of you surprised us.

We are incredibly honored to have been voted the #1 Brewery in the Locals Love Us awards by this amazing community. Words cannot fully express our gratitude. This was exactly the encouragement we needed to keep pushing forward.

Many of you know the challenges and delays we have faced with our new location project. Some days have been harder than others. But knowing that you are still out there waiting for us to open our doors again gives us the strength to keep fighting to get this project across the finish line.

Thank you for your continued support, encouragement, patience, and belief in us. It means more than you know.

And thank you to Locals Love Us for your ongoing support through this journey. We love you back, and we love this community that has stood beside us every step of the way.

Drywall is going up—and wow, what a transformation.

For the first time, you can really feel the scale of what this place is becoming. The vision is turning into something real, and it’s even bigger than we imagined.
