Our Story
Star City Comedy is Roanoke’s connection to the stand-up comedy world. For almost 8 years now, we have brought the best and funniest stand-up comedians in the USA right here to Roanoke. Not only do we bring the best National Comedy Club Headliners at least every month, but we’ve brought celebrity comedians to Roanoke such as Gilbert Gottfried, Dustin Diamond, WWE legend Mick Foley, Bobcat Goldthwait, Chappelle’s Show star Donnell Rawlings, Michael Winslow, Saturday Night Live’s Tim Meadows and more.
We are proud to have hosted shows at 8 different venues all over Southwest Virginia and counting! You have seen our shows at the Holiday Inn Valley View, Holiday Inn Tanglewood, Corned Beef and Co., 202 Market, Phase 2 in Lynchburg, The Wayback (formerly on Church Ave, Sidewinders Saloon and Martin’s Downtown.
