Thank you Roanoke community for showing Bernard’s a lot of love this year!

Chef Jon Bernard was named 2nd Place for Best Chef, and Bernard’s earned 3rd Place for Best Place for a Date in the 2026 Best of Roanoke Awards.

One recognizes the work coming out of our kitchen. The other recognizes the experience our entire team works to create for every person who walks through our doors. Together, they mean more to us than we can properly fit into one post.

What an honor to be recognized by the community we call home.

Chef Jon Bernard earned 2nd Place for Best Chef in the 2026 Best of Roanoke Awards, and anyone who knows our kitchen knows how much heart, skill, and work sits behind that recognition.

Jon has shaped Bernard’s through the food we serve and the standards we hold in our kitchen. Having our community recognize his work makes this one especially meaningful.
