The Salsa Club at UCR We are a student dance organization at UCR that seeks to share our passion for Salsa and related danc

The purpose of this organization is to provide instruction in the basics of Salsa dancing, the basics of Bachata dancing, the basics of Cha-Cha dancing, the basics of Merengue dancing, and the basics of Kizomba dancing, which is growing in popularity within salsa clubs. We seek to provide an environment where practice of the above dances can be executed, to provide a social network that focuses on

dancing events and activities, and to provide a portal for individuals with similar interests to meet and interact. We rely on the fact that our organization represents a family of dance-lovers, and have passionate alumni who continue to be an active part the Salsa Club at UCR. We emphasize involvement in the dance community outside of campus in order to share with our members a love of dance that can continue in their lives indefinitely after they graduate.
