New article in the American Distilling Institute Heartbeat Newsletter discusses gin trending toward more juniper forward styles. And what better example of this than our own QSD "Just Juniper" Dry Gin! Juniper is the only botanical, showing off its rich range of flavors to be found in the juniper "berry", in reality a modified cone, known for its pine-like aroma but complex citrus-like flavors, derived from the many monoterpenes present. Our QSD Dry Gin is very versatile, able to combine with other mixers and spirits, and provide the mixologist or home cocktail enthusiast with a means to tune in, tune up, or dominate with pure juniper flavor. Makes a great Martini, a vibrant Bees Knees, or combine it with another multi-botanical gin to increase those juniper notes.

The 2026 U.S. gin market is down, but prices are up. Data from The GIN is IN suggests drinkers are shifting back toward juniper-forward profiles.
