Tippah County Fair & Livestock Show

Many of our volunteers gathered together for the Board to have the opportunity as a Board to say thank you to many of the people who worked so hard to make the 81st Tippah County Fair a success.

The fair is so much more than one week out of the year. There are countless hours, lots of helping hands, long days, late nights, and people who simply see something that needs to be done and jump in to do it.

We enjoyed a delicious meal that By His Grace Outdoors prepared and was able to pour back into the ministry there. It was refreshing to be a part of something much greater than the Fair.

We also had the privilege of recognizing some pretty deserving young people. Seeing the next generation involved, working hard, and loving the fair makes us excited about its future.

81 years. That’s a lot of memories, a lot of families, and a whole lot of people who have poured into the Tippah County Fair over the years.

And just like that… the fairgrounds are quiet.

Things are 95% cleaned up. The last rides from Mississippi Delta Shows pulled out this evening. The show rings are stored away. The Exhibit Hall has been dismantled. The rentals have all been returned. The dust has settled.

For months, we planned. For weeks, we prepared. And for nine days, these grounds were anything but quiet.

They were filled with carnival lights and rodeo nights. Livestock shows and pageants. Music, laughter, competition, good food, old friends and new memories. Over 10,000 people entered through these gates and helped make the 2026 Tippah County Fair one we won’t soon forget.

Now, it’s quiet.

It’s always a little bittersweet when it’s over, especially after watching so many people work so hard to make it happen. But there’s also a whole lot of gratitude when we look back at what was accomplished.

Thank you to every volunteer, sponsor, exhibitor, contestant, vendor, entertainer, carnival worker, law enforcement officer, first responder and fairgoer who played a part.

You made the fair what it was.

So, I guess that’s a wrap on 2026. The gates may be closed and the grounds may be quiet…

…but in about 11 months, we’ll start making memories all over again.

Until then, thank you for an incredible Tippah County Fair.

Even though the Fair brings a lot of work, long hours, and effort, it’s always a little bittersweet when it comes to an end.

But this year, all we can say is WOW!

We saw record-breaking attendance on some nights, incredible participation in events and contests, and thousands of memories made throughout the week. YOU made the Tippah County Fair what it is!

We are incredibly thankful for every volunteer who gave their time, every sponsor who helped make it possible, every exhibitor and contestant who participated, and every person who walked through our gates and supported the Fair.

The rides may have stopped and the gates may be closed for another year, but we aren’t quite finished celebrating the 2026 Tippah County Fair!

Over the next few weeks, we’ll continue looking back at this year’s Fair—sharing memories, highlighting our events, and recognizing the people, volunteers, and sponsors who helped make it all possible.

Thank you, Tippah County, for an unforgettable year.

What a Fair it was! See you next year!

There are some traditions that are bigger than an event—they become part of a family’s story. ❤️

Come fill the stands, cheer loud, and help us celebrate the people and traditions that have made this rodeo what it is today.
