Ardent Craft Ales began as a co-op in a Richmond garage, a space where we sought to create innovative beers and introduce others to historic brewing methods and beer styles. As a production brewery, our mission remains the same: to produce and celebrate exceptional and ambitious beers with the ever-growing craft beer community.

🎉 The Ardent 12th Anniversary Party is coming up on Saturday, June 13!

🍻 We’re throwing an all-day party in the beer garden featuring live music, food trucks, and Ardent beers, all in celebration of 12 amazing years in Scott's Addition.

🎤 Live Music Schedule:
2:00 - The Hurricane Party
3:20 - Pay Rent Brass Band
4:40 - Weekend Plans
6:00 - Night Idea

🌭 Food Vendors:
1115 Mobile Kitchen
The Mayor Meats
Eazzy Burger

🎉 The party goes on rain or shine! Kids & families welcome, 21+ to consume alcohol. No outside food, beverages, or coolers will be permitted. Friendly dogs are welcome as long as they remain leashed and outdoors!

Parking will be limited throughout Scott’s Addition, so consider planning alternate transportation, and please don’t drink and drive!

We can’t wait for everybody to join us on June 13 from 12-8pm! Cheers!

🎺 Next up, we’re thrilled to welcome Pay Rent Brass Band to the stage for the Ardent 12th Anniversary Party coming up on Saturday, June 13! Their set kicks off at 3:20, and the Anniversary Party goes all day from 12-8pm!

Founded in Richmond, VA in 2020 by John Hulley, Pay Rent Brass Band began as a way to make rent and quickly became a force of its own. Forged in the streets and dark bars of Richmond, Pay Rent is a tight six-piece brass band that never takes itself too seriously. One moment the audience is dancing to Destiny’s Child, the next they’re belting out The Circle of Life.

🍻 Ardent Pilsner is a clear, golden pilsner with classic lager aroma that is clean and bready, with light grassiness from Hallertauer mittelfrüh noble hops. Medium body and effervescence highlight soft bitterness, malty sweetness and mild fruitiness. Ardent Pilsner is a crisp, refreshing German-style pils that finishes dry and clean with a creamy, long-lasting head that leaves rich lacing.

🌀 Richmond is on the storm track for hurricanes that follow the gulf stream up from the Caribbean. So, if a hurricane is coming, why not have a hurricane party? Blending Funk, Rock, Blues, Boogie, and a little bit of Soul, the influences and inspirations for each band member are so different, but what they found when they came together was the roots of American music.

🐕 We're hosting James River Greyhounds for a Meet & Greet & Tasty Treats in the Ardent beer garden TODAY, Sunday, May 31 from 12-3pm!

Come out to learn about the retired NGA racing greyhounds and speak with their owners. They'll be able to answer questions about adoption, foster and volunteer opportunities.

🍪 Biggie's Bakes will be onsite offering fresh-baked dog treats made with real ingredients. Plus, a portion of all beer sales during this event will be donated to James River Greyhounds!

James River Greyhounds has been dedicated to finding responsible, caring homes for retired racing greyhounds since 1989. They have found forever homes for more than 1750 greyhounds - and counting!
