Brewing a fresh hop beer is a race against the clock. These Sabro hops were harvested at Carpenter Ranch on August 28, and we brewed them the very next morning.

All 500 pounds we picked up went into this single batch of Fresh Hop NOG. Most of the hops went straight into the mash tun, but we held some back for the kettle. Those were packed into giant homemade “tea bags” and dunked directly into the wort to pull as much fresh hop character as we could from them.

That incredibly short trip from field to brewery is what makes fresh hop beer different. Instead of dried/pelletized hops, we’re brewing with whole hops just after harvest, capturing more of that bright, green, intensely aromatic character while it’s still fresh.

Five hundred pounds. One batch. Less than 24 hours to make the magic happen.

It's everyone's favorite time of the year when NOG gets a little greener.

The wait is finally over. This Saturday we'll be releasing our 2026 batch of Fresh Hop NOG. You can expect your pint to be brighter and more aromatic compared to a regular NOG, with an unmistakable just-picked Sabro hop flavor.

Fresh Hop season doesn't stick around for long, and neither will this batch 🍻

Our new collab with Lucky Envelope Brewing is hitting the taproom this Friday!

Ground Provisions Harvest Lager
(5.5% ABV) - A historic lager brewed with sweet and russet potatoes. The name honors the starchy crops African-Caribbean slaves grew for sustenance, while the beer itself reimagines the German pre-Reinheitsgebot Kartoffelbier. Expect a striking copper-colored lager with notes of dark-toasted bread and a floral earthiness from the potato and classic noble hops.

Available on draft and in cans! This might just be the PERFECT Fall lager, but we'll let you be the judge this Friday 🍂🍻
