Last Call at the Pub at the Park today.
3 years ago, we took a leap into the unknown.
We assembled a good team, we did our research, and then we got to work, but it was uncharted territory.
We gave this space all the love, blood, sweat, tears, and care we had in order to give it a new life. We focused on the people who walked through our doors. No tvs, just human interaction over a meal and a pint. That was the beauty we saw in this place. It held the kind of energy that can really bring people together from all walks of life.
Travelers on the river boats, families walking by on their way to the Park, shoppers at the Parkway, people listening to music at the Tumbleweeds festival, or watching Shakespeare in the Park, or supporting artists at the Allied Arts Gallery.
From the bar that Ryan and Pedro built on the patio to the recipes Chef Erica created to the mural and walls painted by Lisa and Josh and the wooden sign made by Eli. This little corner has been a place to see beauty, inside and out.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all of you who have helped us build it.
Now, let's send it off the right way.
Our team has been so absolutely amazing during this whole transition, working their asses off, never complaining, and every last one of them showing up for all of us every day. We are so grateful to each and every one of our team, and we will miss them. So let's show up for them today and give them one last day to remember.
P.s. We have been posting some of our favorite memories the last few days, but we'd love to hear from you. Share your favorite memories or photos below if you have any, we'd love to see them.
