Turn off the lights, the party’s over. Tomorrow will be the last official evening of the Dog And Pony/Hop Garden survivors group. There may be a random day of the week that I need everybody to come in and drink beer, help clean up, buy some crap from our yard sale. But as far as Friday night, fun and frolic. Tomorrow is the last. Please join us Friday, June 20 from 4 to 9 for the last time seeing Dog And Pony and Hop Garden regulars in their native environment. It’s going to be a sad night for me.
I will miss most of you. I hope you’ll join us.

Tomorrow, Friday, June 13th (scary!) from 4 to 9. We will be having our second to last meeting of the Dog And Pony/Hop Garden survivors club. It’s been a great time. I’m sorry those of you that have not been able to join us. We think about you often. And also sorry that you’ve missed out on all of the cash and prizes that we have given away every week. Unfortunately, that’s over now. But you’re still welcome to join us for these last two weeks as we laugh, cry, Kumbaya and voulez-vous coucher and think about the old times, Glory days

OK, here’s the story. We will be open tomorrow, Friday, June 6th from 4 to 9 for our Dog And Pony/Hop Garden survivors group meeting and lecture series. We will be open for two more weeks after that, the 13th and the 20th. I don’t know what we’re gonna have to sell, but we will be open. The 20th will be the last Friday open. And as expected after that, we will convert into a mattress/oriental rug store called, “Crazy Jays mattress and oriental rug store”. And from that point on we will be closing every week till the end of time. “We’re going crazy!”
It’s been a fun ride everyone.

The Dog And Pony/Hop Garden Survivors group will be meeting tomorrow, Friday, May 30 from 4 to 9. Bring yourselves, your snacks, your happy go lucky attitude and we’ll see you then. The way it’s looking this week and next week will be the final two fridays. Followed by a sale of what’s left and clean up. I’m sure we’ll be asking for cleanup volunteers if anybody’s interested and I’m sure beer will be involved. I’ll keep you posted.

The Dog And Pony/Hop Garden survivors group and starter cult will be meeting tomorrow, Friday, May 16 from 4 to 9. We will be discussing what it’s going to be like to not see Jay every Friday. And how to deal with those emotions. Don’t forget your training robes and Fez. And I hope everyone everyone’s been practicing the secret handshake. Please bring snacks if you’re so inclined. Beer, some wine and some liquor will be available at ridiculously low prices. The one thing I can guarantee is fun will be had by most.

He’s expanding the selection so if anybody missed out last week or needs more. Tonight‘s the night. We will be open tomorrow, Friday May 9th from 4-9 for our weekly Dog And Pony/Hop Garden beer/hempfest.
We only have a couple of these left. Best case scenario is we go a little into June? We’re going to be doing our regular Fridays and we will probably have a Saturday yard sale/cleanup day in the very near future. Stay tuned. We have the same lineup of great IPAs as last week. But hey, there are bars in Renton that have never changed their lineup. Our old friend Jeannie McWilliams will be in town this week so stop by to see Jeannie. Back by popular the demand. The quote of the week. Which is also your admission to get into the building. “Betner! the cat you always wanted to be.” Which, for some backstory that was Ron Livingood toasting Kristen’s cat. If you’re ever in need of a toast and you can’t come up with something that one always works.

Come one come all to one of our few remaining Friday night Dog And Pony/Hop Garden survivors group snack out/drink out/smoke out. Three really good IPAs on draft this week. And a great selection of bottles and cans. I hope you’re able to stop by. I know it seems like a rug or mattress store going out of business. Where every week is our last week. But it is genuinely getting closer to the end. Which honestly this working one day a week is killing me. So come by, see our regulars in their natural state. Don’t feed them. Don’t look them straight in the eye. Just enjoy the majesty that is people who somehow enjoy each others company for over 20 years. These folks are the best. Most of them.

Come on in to one of the few remaining nights of the Dog And Pony/Hop Garden chip fest and IPA soirée. Friday April 25th 4-9. And this week, I promise not to be mad at those of you that came by to sit on the patio, not knowing that we had closed five months prior. I do appreciate you, my Fairweather friends. Mostly. Tomorrow night we have the remains of Russian River Pliny the elder IPA, and Northleft hazy IPA from great notion. And a fresh keg of Bells two hearted IPA. I hope to see you all there. I know I’ve joked about being the boy who cried wolf, but these are going to come to an end very soon. And it’s been a great time seeing everybody. Bring your records, your lawn chairs, your fire pits, weather‘s going to be wonderful.
And as for our weekly quote, “I was asked to start wearing long pants at church because the Priest said I was too distracting to the females in the congregation.”

One of the few remaining nights of the Dog And Pony/Hop Garden survivors snack fest and cheap beer night. This week we will have $6 pints of Pliny the elder and for you hazy fans $6 pints of Great Notion Northleft hazy IPA. Plus a great selection of bottles and cans, cider, some wine and some spirits (mostly bourbon). As usual, we are open from 4 till 9 Friday April 18th. As usual fun will be had by most. The crowd seems to be getting bigger. I guess everyone’s feeling the pending doom. So please come join us if you can. And don’t forget the phrase that pays… “Every time he says it’s all right, it’s all right baby Jesus dies.
