Join us for a very special tasting event! The timeless leader in single vineyard, massal selection Pinot noirs and Chardonnays for Sonoma County, Saintsbury Winery, will be leading a tasting of 4 of their acclaimed wines, each expertly paired with cheese by Rory Stamp. Rory is cheesemonger author of Cheese, Illustrated & Director of Sales for Saintsbury wines. Featured wines will include:
Sonoma coast Chardonnay, Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir, Sundawg Chase Pinot Noir, Alder Springs Mencia. $50/person. Please reserve your spot and purchase your ticket online at our events page or in the shop. Seated will be limited! Say cheese!

We’ve got a true cellar selection landed at the shop, just in time for the holidays. The crown jewel single vineyard wine of historic Burgess Cellars property on the western slopes of Howell Mountain, Sorenson Vineyard. Known for its dense volcanic soil & high elevation, this vineyards was first planted in the late 1880’s. We’ve been lucky to get access to 12 bottles of the 2017 vintage of this highly scored wine. Normally retailing starting at $160 and up, we are offering this limited wine for $100 this holiday season! Be the wine hero in your favorite collector’s story and grab one of these bottle while they are still here. 95 points Wine Wnthusiast.

Pop-up event ALERT! Who craves a cozy pizza & wine night regularly? Well, we’ve teamed up with our friends at to bring you our first curated pizza-making and wine pairing night. Our first event will focus on basics: learn all about the craft behind getting that perfect crust they have and the art of making crumbled sausage. Enjoy instruction from owner Andrew Silvaroli on all things pizza and wine pairings with wine director and Reno’s sassiest sommelier- Shannon DeDora. Class will include snacking on three different pizza styles, wine pairing with each and a take-home dough and sausage kit so you can craft pizza at home! $75/person. Reservation required. Event is Tuesday, November 18th, 4:30pm at Smiling with Hope. Seating here is intimate and LIMITED to 15 people. Please reach out to Blackrock Wine at 775-440-1091.
