It’s time. While we should have many beautifully sunny days still to enjoy this year the cool mornings and air conditioner-less nights have heralded a merging of palate and malt. About a week ago we tapped the first of eleven kegs of German brew we got straight from the heartland of Franconia. Encompassing the northern stretch of Bavaria, Franconia has a shocking number of world class breweries and this is truly saying something considering you know, Germany. As a seasons welcome we will be pouring them in succession until the last drops of pils, dunkel, and rauchbier are joyously consumed. Please remember your prost manners and always make eye contact during toasts. The consequences are NOT worth the risk. Also, Akira is in theaters this week!

What if a competition could help change a life?

On August 8th, Northern Nevada IEC will host the 2nd Annual Electrical Apprentice Competition at Craft W**e and B**r bringing together apprentices, contractors, local businesses, and our community for an afternoon of competition, connection, and purpose.

This year’s event benefits Austin's House and Eddy House, two incredible organizations providing critical support, housing, resources, and opportunities to vulnerable youth and young adults right here in Northern Nevada.

Come watch the next generation of skilled trades professionals put their talents to the test while supporting organizations that are helping young people build brighter futures.

Whoah! You all showed up yesterday! An ocean of Txakolina was consumed, lamb and chorizo was devoured, and good times were had by all.
