For now, all I can think about is how much the hate continues to denigrate the fan experience in Reno, Nevada. It seems there is no consideration for how this is making the fans & public feel. It's almost like a demand is being made for how you should feel, solely to appease a small, fringy demographic of their readers.
For those of you who felt I was coming off that way while trying to expose these very serious issues pertaining to our livelihood, I apologize. You have my word that Club Underground's tone will be more kind moving forward. We will continue to discuss topics in the music scene in addition to promoting our events, but we won't be harsh, even when others are harsh with us.
My question so far is: How does anyone, let alone This is Reno, expect to unify people when it manipulates solidarity with such heavy social pressure?
Usually, if a venue comes out and says, "I'm gonna change the game and elevate the whole experience for the fans," people respond with, "ok! Put your money where your mouth is, jack."
This time, it seems like a very coordinated group of people responded with, "Not if we destroy you first."
I agree with some of the commenters.
It's weird.
