Mixed up some photos of different weddings that were at the Avalon Ballroom in Remsen ia. We’ve had complete events where the wedding ceremony, reception, meal and the dance were all done at the Avalon so nobody had to leave the venue. The 40 ft backdrop and chandelier and ceiling decorations and lighting are included in the rent. We’ve got round or long tables available.for a Saturday wedding rent will start Thursday night after 6 pm through 11pm when the dance is done, then clean up to follow. Decorations pick up and finish up may be done on Sunday unless the hall is booked for the day. There are some other rental items available like a portable blue tooth dj speaker system if you want to play your own music for the dance or table covers or table skirting , chair covers if interested. The Avalon Ballroom will be celebrating 90 years in business in 2027 and is the same building that was built and opened on Labor Day 1937! Many memories made and popular bands played at the Avalon!
