Today, on D-Day, we pause to remember the extraordinary courage, sacrifice, and unwavering determination of the men and women who helped secure the freedoms we enjoy today.
On June 6, 1944, thousands of brave service members stormed the beaches of Normandy, facing unimaginable danger in the fight against tyranny. Many never returned home, and countless others carried the memories of that day for the rest of their lives.
We honor those heroes, as well as all veterans who have answered the call to serve our nation. Their sacrifices remind us that freedom is never free and that the strength of our country has always been built upon the courage of those willing to defend it.
From all of us, thank you to our veterans, active-duty military, and military families. We are forever grateful for your service, your sacrifice, and your commitment to our country.
🇺🇸 We remember. We honor. We thank you. 🇺🇸
