Inspired by the contours of Bengal Gold, Extra Gold IPA takes that familiar profile and turns it up a notch. A generous addition of Michigan-grown Chinook hops, along with Citra and Summit, brings aromas of pineapple, citrus pith, and dank hop character. Full-bodied with a touch of alcoholic warmth, the beer balances moderate sweetness with an assertive bitterness and a finish that is unmistakably bigger than its Bengal Gold inspiration.
