CommUNITY Connection: Spotlight Sunday: #8 🚨 ‼️ 🪏

This week we are pleased to highlight Rapid Lawns! As it’s the last Sunday in May and the weather (and grass) is finally showing up, so does our lawn and landscape care! It’s a lot of work!! 🙂 🧤

What started as a side job in 2017 while still in high-school, Brent Lundquist stayed busy taking care of neighbors yards. Brent decided to make it an official business in the Spring of 2025 and added 6 employees to help with tackling the business challenge! 🤝 👷‍♂️

Lawn care has always been a passion of Brent’s, due to growing up with both of his grandpas being involved in a similar type of work and he’s now grateful he can do it full time as his own business to carry on the tradition!

Rapid Lawns offers mowing and trimming, spring and fall clean ups, bush and tree trimming and removal, stump grinding, mulching and rock landscapes, soding, edging, gutter cleaning, retaining walls, fire wood sales, and even deer blind remodels, junk removal and much more! Yep, if it’s in your yard Brent and his team can handle it!

Growing up in Rapid River Brent has always had a heart for the community and it shows with all he does! If you know him, you know he’s a young man with a heart of gold!

They volunteer time at rapid river schools in many fashions, including the sports and ball fields, they donate to multiple local events and charities with monetary and physical assistance as well!

To quote Brent, he says “Our passion is serving this community with loyal quality work” and boy is that an understatement, Brent is a beacon of example for not only the younger adults in our community but for ALL of us! He’ll greet you with a smile, a pair of gloves and a handshake and you know you are in good hands!

🚨☀️ SUMMER AT RAPID RIVER PUB IS GOING TO BE ONE FOR THE BOOKS! ☀️🚨

If you’ve been wondering what we’ve got planned this summer, the answer is… A LOT! 🎉

We’ve had quite a few people asking for an updated list of our events, and while you can always find them on our website, we wanted to give everyone a sneak peek at what’s on the calendar so far.

🍻 Outdoor Bar Events
🎉 Our HUGE 130-Year Celebration on July 18th

And we’re not done yet! We’re still finalizing additional live music acts, co****le tournaments, and a few other surprises that will be added throughout the summer.

The excitement really kicks off June 6th when our outdoor venue is officially open for the season! The outdoor bar will be pouring cold drinks, the music will be playing, and the memories will be waiting to be made.

As for July 18th… mark your calendars now. Our 130-Year Celebration is going to be something special, and we’ll be sharing more details very soon!

What a great day in Rapid River at our Memorial Day Parade and events! 🇺🇸

It was an honor to drive the Grand Marshall Michael Hebert and former owner of the pub through the parade! It is well deserved and he was thoroughly surprised when he was announced as the GM!

Thank you for all you have done and do for our community Mike! You are a great man and a great part of this community and we all love you! ❤️ 🙌

🚨 ‼️ How about a pasty and a pizza? Well, how about a Pasty Pizza!?! Yep, we did just that! Launched today!!! It’s so delicious!!
