Well, where has Carlos Carlito Fuente Jr. been? He went to the Central States Fair and enjoyed the German Tent.
Carlos Carlito Fuente Jr. was busy.
Carlito tried the Chicken Dance and the Alligator Dance. He tried them both with enthusiasm!
Carlito helped serve drinks at the German Tent and entertained the crowd.
Carlito had some photo ops and was seen hanging out with the Polka Guy DJ. Then he ran into Wolverine in the German Tent. He ran into the Rapid City To***co Club from the Tinderbox.
Then things got exciting when the Clydesdale trucks and horses rolled into town.
Carlito was going to try the Stein Hoisting Contest but didn't bring a stein.
Carlito tried some fair food at the end of the fair visit.

Carlos Carlito Fuente Jr.Bandlands Adventure! Carlito headed to the Badlands National Park this weekend. On the way, we stopped at Wall Drug where Carlito met a cigar smoker. Carlito wanted to know if that was a Fuente cigar? After a milkshake, we were on our way. Carlito stopped and took in the scenery and breathtaking views. Carlito stopped at the Ben Reifel Visitor Center to get his passport stamped. Carlito, being a missileer, stopped by Minuteman Missile National Historic Site. There, Carlito found his next Cadillac!

Carlos Carlito Fuente Jr. I hope you have your passport because we are leaving South Dakota for your next adventure. We are going to Wyoming to visit Devils Tower National Monument. Carlito, watch out behind you; it is a prairie dog! Man, that was a close call; now back home to South Dakota.

Where in South Dakota is Carlito?
Carlos “Carlito” Fuente JR went on an adventure to Ellsworth Air Force Base and to the South Dakota Air and Space Museum.
Let me tell you what almost got Carlito in the brig today. We rolled up to the gate at Ellsworth Air Force Base without an appointment from the Installation Commander. You know Carlito; he had a word or two with the gate guard, and the next thing you know, we were on the run from the MPs. Carlito, being smaller and quicker, made it to the fence and over he went.
We decided to go somewhere more inviting: the South Dakota Air and Space Museum. As we walked in, there was the B-1B Lancer! What a bird! The B-52D Stratofortress caught Carlito’s eye. He had to see the monster of a plane up close. We decided to go into the South Dakota Air and Space Museum. So many things to see, so much history, and artifacts. Carlito wanted to experience the Cold War Era for himself with a pose at a gate marker. Carlito was feeling in charge, so he took charge at the Commander's desk. Carlito wanted to fly, so he climbed up into the F-106 Delta Dart Simulator-hang on, Carlito, it is fast!
Things got a little out of control; Carlito wanted to be a Missileer! Carlito looked over the Minuteman II ICBM with a nuclear warhead and said he wanted to see the control room. This two-man operation didn’t need Carlito’s help. Carlito looked through the protective glass, and the next thing I knew, he was inside! Carlito!!!! DON’T PUSH THAT BUTTON! Man, that was close.
I had to get Carlito outside before we had to visit the MPs again. So, outside, so many aircraft to see, and Carlito’s was running out of energy.
The last thing Carlito wanted you to see was a Supersonic Ashtray that was in the B-1Bomber.
And yes, “GIVE THAT MAN A CIGAR! – General Curtis E LeMay”
Stay tuned to Carlito’s next adventure. I think BEER is involved.

Oh, where, oh where has Carlos Carlito Fuente Jr.been this weekend? Well, let me tell you....Carlos Carlito Fuente Jr. has officially discovered the Sturgis Rally, and apparently he has NO idea how to behave!
We kicked things off by wandering over to Nemo, where we stopped to listen to the awesome sounds of Orion & Stacey Potter. Let's just say Carlito may have been doing a little toe-tapping and feeling pretty cool...until it was time to head to Sturgis and check out The Stump. Carlito had to see what all the fuss was about. Of course, Carlito found himself hanging out with a rally dog dressed for the Rally. And THEN he spotted a helicopter from Black Hills Helicopters, and almost-ALMOST-got to take a ride! But Mother Nature had other plans. Just as he was getting ready to take flight, the DOWNPOUR happened! Carlito tried his best to stay dry, but apparently tiny adventurous travelers aren't waterproof.
The next day, it was time for the most important mission of the weekend: trying a South Dakota Rally hot dog! And let me tell you...Carlito takes his research very seriously.
Then things got REALLY exciting! Carlito got to be on the radio thanks to Kat Country 98.7, Mark Houston, and Stitch from the afternoon shift. Celebrity status? Absolutely! Ego? Maybe.
After that, it was off to explore Main Street. Carlito climbed WAY up high on the top of a tower of motorcycles because, apparently, ground level is just too boring.
Then he spotted a stuffed fluffy cow sitting on a motorcycle. Naturally, Carlito had to sit beside it AND give it a little pet.
BIG MISTAKE!
Apparently, you're not supposed to pet the fluffy cow sitting on a bike because the cops showed up!
Carlito got arrested. (It is the Rally)
Don't worry- he served a very short sentence and was released back into the wild to continue his adventures.
His next stop? A tattoo shop! (It is the Rally) Carlito decided he needed a little Rally souvenir and got himself a tiny tattoo on his cheek. Because nothing says "I survived the Sturgis Rally" quite like questionable decision-making and facial ink.
Finally, he kicked back, listened to some awesome music on Main Street, and enjoyed the Rally atmosphere.
All in all, Carlito had quite the weekend.
He came for the adventure...
He stayed for the hot dogs...
He left with a tattoo and a police record.
Just another normal weekend for Carlito! And at this rate, Carlito is going to need a vacation from his vacation.
Stay tuned who knows where Carlito will wander off to next? HMMMM....maybe the German Tent.

Thanks to Darrell and Sandy for being Carlito's Chaperone, I guess.

Carlos Carlito Fuente Jr. has been racking up miles since the Sturgis Rally.
Oh, Where, Oh Where has Carlito Been?

Well, Carlito decided to head eastward for another little adventure!

First stop, The World's Only Corn Palace in Mitchell, SD.
Yep, you read that right-the murals are made from corn and other grains! Carlito was pretty impressed. Who knew corn could be so fancy?
On the way back to Rapid City, SD, Carlito had to stop again to check out the Dignity sculpture, standing tall and beautiful overlooking the Missouri River. What a view. Carlito may have even struck a pose....because apparently he's becoming quite the tourist.

And then.....Fire Henge!

A rather interesting structure made with fire trucks and airplanes along the interstate. Carlito's reaction was basically "HMMMMM....Interesting." He wasn't quite sure what to make of that one, but of course he had to investigate.

Stay tuned to see where in South Dakota Carlito ends up next!

To Be Continued......

Thank you to Darrel and Sandy for road tripping with Carlito.

Carlos Carlito Fuente Jr.. Big Day in the Black Hills.

Carlos Carlito Fuente Jr.. went on a little touring adventure through the Black Hills today, and let me tell you...he packed a LOT into one day!
His first stop was Hill City, where he had a very important little chat with Smokey Bear. Apparently, Smokey had some fire-safety tips to share.
From there, we headed into Custer State Park and made our way to beautiful Sylvan Lake. Carlos Carlito Fuente Jr. decided it was the perfect place to cool off with a little walk and a dip in the water.
Then things got interesting...we found ourselves in Black Hills traffic jam on the way to the Needles Eye and Needles Tunnel.
Apparently, everyone else had the same bright idea as us! After making it through the traffic, we explored Hole-in-the-Wall, a little cave tucked away in the park. Carlito was quite the explorer.
Next stop was the State Game Lodge, followed by a buffalo hunt!
We spotted some fluffy cows off in the distance, but Carlito decided it was best to admire them from afar.
Because we don't pet fluffy cows.
Especially when they're 2000 pounds of "I do what I want"
You can see the buffalo hanging out way off in the distance in the pictures.
We stopped at the Bison Center so Carlito could get his official photo with the sign.
And finally, our big adventure ended with a visit to Custer Search and Rescue and the fire department, where Carlito had a very serious conversation about staying safe while driving in the Black Hills.
After a full day of sightseeing, Swimming, exploring caves, dodging traffic, looking for buffalo, and learning about safety.....
I'd say Carlito had himself one heck of a Black Hills adventure.
Carlito's official review: 5 out of 5 stars
Buffalo petting: 0\10-Still alive, so I consider that a success.

Special thanks to Darrel and Sandy for being today's tour guides and editorial.
Pictures coming on a separate post.
