To all our Kelly's family, friends and customers. We will be closed April 4th and 5th to allow our employees some time off to celebrate Easter with their families. We look forward to seeing everyone again monday morning for business as usual. Thank you all for your business and friendship. Have a blessed Easter everyone.

To all our customers, friends and Kelly’s family. We will be closed tomorrow and Christmas Day to allow our employees time to travel and be with their families for Christmas. We will be back at it and open at 11AM Friday morning to serve you all. Have a very Merry and safe Christmas.

To all our customers, friends, and family. In order to honor our service men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice to defend our country we will be closed on Monday, Memorial Day. We would not have the liberty that we so often take for granted without the tremendous sacrifices of our Armed Forces. We owe them our very freedom. God Bless them all. And to give our employees a much needed day off and time with their families we will be closed Saturday as well. We will return to normal business hours on Monday. USA Softball South Dakota Hall of Fame Class of 2025
Jeremy Ofstad, owner of Kelly's Sports Lounge in Rapid City, South Dakota, and a lifelong supporter of softball, will be honored with induction into the prestigious Softball Hall of Fame. This recognition celebrates Jeremy’s ongoing efforts to preserve and expand the remarkable legacy of the Lounge’s late founder, Kelly Cotten, and its lasting impact on the softball community.

For over 30 years, Kelly's Sports Lounge has been a cornerstone of the softball scene, providing athletes and fans with sponsorships, encouragement, and a welcoming hub that fosters camaraderie. Jeremy has continued Kelly Cotten’s vision, ensuring the Lounge remains a vibrant gathering place while championing local sports initiatives throughout the region.

Under Jeremy’s leadership, Kelly's Sports Lounge has sponsored numerous teams that have competed in Regional Events as well as Women’s Senior Nationals. Their dedication goes far beyond team sponsorships, playing an integral role in supporting the game through partnerships such as sponsoring state scorebooks, hosting umpire suppers before tournaments, providing gift cards for benefit events, and sponsoring two fields at the Star of the West Complex—with plans for additional sponsorships in the future. Kelly's also proudly fields teams playing every night of the week at Star of the West, solidifying their commitment to softball at all levels.

Speaking of Jeremy’s and Kelly’s collective contributions, former league Vice President Jenna McNabb reflected, “As the VP of the league for 20 years, I was able to see firsthand the dedication of Kelly and Jeremy to the teams and tournaments of the RC Softball Association. They have made a substantial investment in the teams and the league and a commitment to USA Softball.”

In nominating Jeremy for this honor, Keith Morell emphasized, “Kelly's has shown consistent commitment to fostering the development of softball with sponsorships and financial commitments to teams and the league. Through their ongoing commitment to the community, Kelly's Sports Lounge has proven to be a valuable asset to the world of softball in Rapid City and the state.”

Let’s honor Jeremy Ofstad and remember the late Kelly Cotten as we celebrate Kelly’s Sports Lounge—a true symbol of softball’s spirit, dedication, and community.

The banquet will be September 27th at the Rapid City Ramkota Inn. The banquet will start with social hour at 5:00 pm Mt. Time with the meal at 6:00. The ceremony will be immediately after. The cost of the event will be $50 per plate.

To all our customers and friends. We take your safety very seriously. In regard to the incident Friday night, we locked all the doors immediately and notified the police. It was not us that waited to Sunday to alert anybody. We shared our security camera footage immediately also so maybe someone might have some information on the individuals responsible for endangering our patrons. We will continue to strive to keep you safe.
