OYSTEROLOGY 101: This week, we’re going blonde. 💁🏼‍♀️🦪

Meet the East Beach Blonde Oysters. 🤩They are small to medium beauties with clean, pearly shells and gorgeous blonde accents. Basically, they show up to the oyster bar looking like they just got back from the salon. 😂💅🏼These oysters are power washed regularly to keep those shells looking clean and pearly, while periodic tumbling helps give them that nice, uniform cup shape. Pretty AND properly shaped? We love an overachiever. 🤌🏼

Grown by East Beach Oyster Farm, a founding member of the Ocean State Shellfish Co-Operative, these oysters are all about that delicate balance of looks and flavor. 😍😋And inside? Silky, smooth meats with a mild, salty flavor that lets the oyster do the talking. 🌊💋 Translation: pretty shell, pretty cup, silky meat, just the right amount of salt. These little blondes know how to make an entrance.

Blish Point Oysters are making their debut! 🦪 Straight out of Barnstable Harbor, Massachusetts, Blish Point Oysters are cocktail-size beauties with deep cups, clean shells, and plenty of plump, pillowy meat.

So what makes Barnstable Harbor so special? 🌊 Its swift currents naturally tumble the oysters while bringing in plenty of food to keep them plump, happy & full. Basically, they’re getting a free workout AND an all-you-can-eat buffet. 😂

These oysters are farmed for 16–20 months, growing from mesh bags into growout trays before they make their way to your plate. They average 2.75+ inches and are available year-round. It is Tuesday Night at Shipwrecks and we have Neubert / McFarland (AKA: NeuMac) taking over the patio!
Two guys. Two guitars. Zero reason to stay home. NeuMac is bringing the good stuff tonight with Yacht Rock, Jazz Standards, Original Songs & Pop Classics. 🛥️🎶
