🇺🇸 CHEERS NEVER FORGETS. 🇺🇸
25 years ago today, our country changed forever.
We remember the 2,977 lives taken far too soon. We remember the families who kissed someone goodbye that morning and never got the chance to welcome them home.
We remember the firefighters, police officers, paramedics and ordinary Americans who ran toward danger when every instinct told them to run away.
We remember the first responders who survived that day, but carried its scars with them—and those we have lost in the years since from illnesses connected to their service.
And we remember what happened afterward.
For a little while, we weren’t divided by politics, backgrounds or beliefs. We were simply Americans. We flew our flags. We checked on our neighbors. We hugged our families a little tighter. We stood together.
Today, Cheers raises a glass to every life lost, every first responder, every military member who answered the call afterward, and every family that has carried the weight of September 11th for the last 25 years.
May we never forget the lives we lost.
May we never forget the heroes who stepped forward.
And may we never forget how strong we can be when we stand together.
From our little hometown bar in Ramona, California, to every American remembering today—
Cheers never forgets. 🇺🇸
