Jimmy V’s Osteria + Bar is a unique and modern restaurant created honoring Jimmy Valvano and his legacy and commitment to cancer research, and a portion of our revenues will be donated to The V Foundation for Cancer Research. menu creation featuring local and seasonal dishes with an emphasis on delicious Italian/American down to earth and traditional comfort foods using local farm grown ingredients and straightforward preparations. Also, Executive Chef Scott Chatterton focuses on shareable small-plates, to encourage groups to socialize in a convivial atmosphere, which is warm and inviting for family gatherings, a night on the town or toasting drinks with friends. A comfortable glass enclosed private dining area, The Jimmy V Den, is available for all life’s celebrations including group gatherings, private events, and reservations to bring your friends and family together. Our wood stone fire deck pizza oven is surrounded by a marble chef’s counter which allows guests to watch the team of skilled pizzaiolos create world-class pies in a vibrant upbeat setting. Patrons can also enjoy and watch all their favorite local sports teams as well as National Sporting Events. Jimmy V’s creators have placed a strong emphasis on developing a comprehensive assortment of beverages from handmade culinary cocktails to craft beers including local favorites such as Red Oak, Aviator & Big Boss. Also our creators designed an extensive and inspiring wine list to highlight the “by the bottle” and “by the glass” program. Jimmy V’s Osteria + Bar is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and has the largest open air patio and outside seating area in Raleigh, perfect for sipping crafted cocktails and relaxing in a space that evokes a sense of style and ease.
