Located in the Warehouse District, Vita Vite is downtown Raleigh's premiere wine bar and art gallery. It features a variety of 20 carefully-selected wines, small plates and artwork from 10 local and regional artists. Vita Vite's 5,600 square foot space also includes an event venue (1250 square feet) that can host intimate groups of up to 80 people. Owner Lindsay Rice decided to open Vita Vite as a

way to blend her two passions - fine art and wine. She wanted to create a comfortable space to help people visualize the artwork in their homes - all while enjoying a glass of wine.

After a decade of sharing wine, art, and community in Downtown Raleigh, it’s with heavy hearts that we’ll be closing our Downtown location on Sunday, December 14th. We’re filled with nothing but gratitude for the amazing 10 years we’ve had, and are thankful for the friendships we’ve made, wine we’ve drank, and memories we’ve created with all of you.

While the news is bittersweet, we’re looking forward to continuing to welcome you to our Midtown location, with expanded hours and new events coming in 2026.

So whether it’s for one last toast in our original location, or saying cheers to the next chapter at Midtown, come raise a glass with us! We look forward to hosting you this season and celebrating all that’s ahead for us in the New Year. Cheers to 🔟 years of VV! 🥂
