If you’ve spent any time in Provincetown, chances are you already know Joe Johnston-and if you know Joe, you know just how special he is. ✨
For 21 years, Joe was the General Manager of Fanizzi’s, becoming one of the most familiar and beloved faces in Provincetown’s restaurant community before leaving in 2025 to join Coastal Hospitality Group. His impact goes far beyond running a restaurant. Joe has an incredible ability to bring people together, build amazing teams, make every guest feel at home…and somehow make every place he touches even better.
Now, as Director of Operations for Coastal Hospitality Group, Joe brings that same energy, experience, heart, and unmistakable personality to The Governor Bradford, Pate’s, Codo Mexican Kitchen, and Chapin’s Bayside.
We couldn’t be luckier to have him helping lead our restaurants—and we’re especially excited to have him right here at The Governor Bradford, continuing to be part of the Provincetown community he has loved and served for more than two decades.
