Sad news about a retired board member and the man who taught us how to do sound. A great man and lovely family as Mike Danielson was injured.
Prayers and loving thoughts to the family and speedy recovery.

This is from Tim, Mike's brother

I want to share with you the news that my brother Mike is in the Hospital in the Neuro ICU. He is stable. He's there as the result of being hit by a car on Sunday morning while walking near his house. He suffered a skull fracture, broken ribs, scalp and forehead lacerations, a brain bleed, and some related road rash.
During his evaluation this morning when they lifted some pretty heavy sedation, he was able to comply with commands and able to wiggle his toes and fingers, move his arms and legs, open his eyes, and gave thumbs up to his caregivers. His brain bleed hasn't gotten any worse, he's being kept under pretty heavy sedation and pain meds, and is going to sport a couple of impressive scars, unless wound care and plastic surgery get involves. The next 48 hours are critical, and the outlook by the staff is guarded but positive. Hope prevails.
Please keep Mike, his wife Kathy, his daughter Sarah and her family, and Chris and Abi in your thoughts and prayers. And if you would like to shock the Almighty, please include me as well. I could use a couple right now.

Meera is magic, the kind that invigorates and heals. When I saw her first play, she came to our open mic and shared that sometimes her lyrics are just beautiful words strung together as if they spun themselves from dreams. It was captivating! She has since played our Stone Soup Coffeehouse Annual Fundraiser in the past and, while a contender for a sampler show, she's been really doing the work and making a name for herself and really deserves this opportunity to shine in a double bill with Troy, NY artist Ryan Leddick. Come and see Ryan Leddick & Meera Raphael this Saturday. It's going to be, well, powerful!
