Fortnight is a casual, experimental wine bar driven by a love for all things delicious and well-made.

Fortnight is a casual, experimental wine bar and workers’ cooperative focused on naturally and biodynamically produced wines. Beer selections are similarly curated to reflect small-batch, innovative producers from around the world. A food program designed to eliminate food waste complements these selections with creative takes on foods that get better with time - pickles and brines, braises, rillettes, and smokes of all sorts.

The numbers are in and we are so grateful to everyone who donated, participated, and spread some good, healing energy around. In moments like these it’s difficult to find reasons to celebrate but look what was accomplished.

Hopefully this money will be able to reach those who need it most, even if it is just a drop in the bucket.

Please stay vigilant in the fight against oppression, occupation, apartheid, Zi0nism, antisemitism, and the capitalistic machine that allows for genocide to be something anyone can justify. The people of Ga za need us to keep pushing for a permanent c€asefire!

Dear friends and community members,

Like many of you, we are sad and outraged and desperate to help in some way. The ongoing avalanche of human suffering (in Gaza and beyond its borders) is an insult to our collective humanity. We denounce all forms of apartheid, occupation and genocide — but the ugliness of what we are witnessing in Gaza right now is something that we simply can not turn away from. So let’s turn towards it and turn towards each other.

Please join us for one evening to raise money for those who are suffering in Gaza. Hosted by some former members and friends of Fortnight, with the help of The Salon.

It’s true that sometimes a bar is just a bar. It’s also true that bars can function as vital spaces of conversation and togetherness. And it is most true in the most hopeless of times that they can be spaces of communal bond in which to plant the seeds of collective action and resistance. There also can be joy in resistance — the type of joy that creates energy for change.

We’ll be back for one night only, Sunday November 26, to tap into some togetherness with you all. We’ll be pouring through a bunch of wine by the glass, crispy boys (IYKYK), and a special bottle list with selections from the Fortnight cellar. We will ALSO be holding a silent auction with some really special pieces of art and objects made by folks in our community 🙏. All proceeds will go to PCRF (Palestine Children’s Relief Fund).

In the meantime, please call/email your local politicians and C*ngress demanding ceasefire, attend protests, participate in boycotts, and sign all the petitions you can find – donations will only help if there is something to rebuild.

Picnic wine! Beach wine! Tuesday night wine! Wines that are punchy and high acid and wild tasting that WE MADE OURSELVES over the past couple of years from mostly hybrid regional grape varieties. Some of which you maybe helped us pick 🤚

We're selling them for cheap because we have too much and nowhere to put it all

All bottles are $10/ea, OR $100 for a full case. Spring is coming and it's not a bad idea.

DM to place your order, Venmo us to confirm (), pick up next Monday 2/13 between 4-7p. In your message please let us know how many bottles/cases you would like, and of which wines.

Wine no. 1 - skin contact white wine made from Seyval Blanc. Textured, bright, citrusy, herbaceous and and very playful.

Wine no. 2 - Chambourcin and Riesling co-fermented into a red wine. Easy drinking, high acid, pretty gluggable and kind of like a really silly beaujolais.

Wine no. 3 - 2020 Petit Pearl. The most feral of the bunch. Funky, high acid, gamey, but also with violets and blue fruit.

hiiii this is a real life pic of our website showing you all the bottles we still have left and our updated pricing!!! now that the dust has settled the TL;DR is its still too much wine. if you want some, DM us with your list of bottles (incl producer, cuvee, and vintage) OR tell us you want us to pick & give us a price point and some direction. we’ll have someone there for pickups Weds 12-4 or Sat 12-4 (send requests ahead of time pls). requests are first come first served, so send us your picks before someone else does! think of it as having a little fortnight bar sesh but at home. tyyyy 🙏

Thought you could just forget about us?????????? NOT SO FAST.

Writing you from the other side. Heaven has been super fun but we’re kind of bored so we’re coming back to LIQUIDATE ALL OF OUR BELONGINGS from now until the end of January. This is all just to say that for the next few weeks you should keep your eyes positively GLUED to our stories if you’re interested in any of our demented beloved and not cursed at all junk. Some of its actually really nice.

TONIGHT in our stories - A bunch of equipment and furniture for sale. DM us if you see anything you like, we’ll confirm with you, and then you can simply Venmo us and pickup this coming Saturday 1/14 or next Wednesday 1/18. There will be more details in stories.

Then tomorrow night 1/11 we’ll be posting a bunch of stories about our SILENT AUCTION if you are interested in any particular Fortnight ephemera that we have been infusing with intrinsic value (and c*m) over the years.

At the end of the month we will host a two day long tag sale where you can come browse special little items, glassware, leftover furniture and equipment as well as what’s left of THE WINE CELLAR.
