We are excited to Partner with & Host the Alabama International Fringe Festival festivities this Weekend!

They will be bringing a collection of ten-minute plays to life through intimate couch readings performed by local actors right here at The Ember Parlor at 243 South.

🍴Guests can also purchase a $25 wristband to enjoy the Small Bites Buffet throughout the event.
This year’s readings feature works by playwrights from near and far:

⭐ Allie Costa — Boxes Are Magic, Amelia Still, Breaking the Cycle, Glitter and Smoke, and Wrong
⭐ Eric Wiley — My Father Was a Playwright
⭐ Nina Schwelm — Across the Sea
⭐ Virginia Nash — Cosmic Static

And the couch readings are just part of the fun! They’ll be woven throughout our Fringe Variety Show from 4:00–7:00 PM, alongside live music, magic from Prestidigitator Allen Zorn, and more.
