Throwback to last Sunday when our hearts were stolen by these three angels! 🐕💖

Fiona found her forever home with one of our lovely regulars; Poppy was adopted a few days later, and Yuyu (the beauty with two different-colored eyes) is still available!

Thank you Darbster Doggy for giving Reedmor this amazing opportunity to help our furry friends find homes, and Feathered Friend Brewing for linking us all up! It was a wonderful afternoon, a dopamine hit straight to the heart. 🥰

The small businesses of Portsmouth need YOUR help!

Since the introduction of the Resident Access Parking Program (RAPP) on July 1st, our workforce has lost access to its free parking. While the program solves a problem for Portsmouth residents, it creates a problem for our workforce.

The existing Downtown Workers Parking Program is not working.
1) Currently small business owners, salaried employees, and independent contractors are not eligible for the program.
2) $3 per day is still a financial burden on those who are struggling to feed their families and afford the gas it takes to commute into town.
3) The Foundry Garage is a full mile away from many businesses, and not a safe place to walk alone at night.

We are asking for an overhaul of the RAPP that benefits both residents AND our workers. There are easy, workable solutions that will give both groups dedicated, protected free parking. But we need City Council to vote to make this happen!

This is an issue that affects everyone in our community. Without workers, we will lose Portsmouth’s thriving small business scene. Without small business, there is no Portsmouth culture. We are requesting your support to pressure City Council to take this issue to a vote!

To get involved:

1) Show up to the City Council meeting on Monday, 8/17 at 7 pm. The meeting is held at City Hall in the Eileen Dondero City Council Chambers.
2) Email the Council your demands for free workforce parking – the more voices, the better!
