Tonight, we celebrate Portsmouth Service League’s very own Michelle Wren, will be honored as the 2026 Portsmouth First Citizen!

As Executive Director of the Portsmouth Partnership, Michelle has spent the past nine years driving transformative change in the Portsmouth community. This includes redeveloping a blighted property into a thriving coworking space that supports minority entrepreneurs, raising $2+ million to support renovations and small businesses, and leading Portsmouth’s designation as a Mobilizing Main Street Community. Her recent efforts have been focused around downtown lighting and security improvements, as well as kicking off the launch of High Street Fest which has energized the heart of our city by drawing thousands downtown.

Congratulations Michelle and thank you for all you do for the city of Portsmouth and the Woman's Club of Portsmouth!
