This 4-week intensive is designed for adults and teens looking to sharpen their on-camera skills and gain practical experience in front of the lens. Whether you're new to screen acting or looking to refresh your technique, this workshop covers scene study, cold reads, commercial copy, and self-taping in a collaborative, supportive environment. The session culminates in a final showcase screening on the big screen at the studios—perfect for building your reel, gaining feedback, and celebrating your progress.

Mark J. Parker is a film, TV, video, and theatre maker, plus an acting and media coach, casting director, and podcaster. He's taught Acting for the Camera throughout the country since 2017, plus he works privately with clients of all ages, helping them train to get agency representation, auditions and callbacks, and book roles. Mark is currently casting his 10th season of the long-running ABC TV series What Would You Do? this fall, plus just cast the local feature films Still Yours and All-American. On stage, he just wrote his third short play False Future, which had its first staged reading in August at New Hampshire Theatre Project in Portsmouth thanks to Dive In Productions. He also just directed a staged reading of the play Dog Sees God at the Newmarket Millspace and was last seen performing in Murder By the Book at the Kittery Library in the spring. Mark has directed and produced award-winning short films that can be streamed on various platforms online - many of them horror and thrillers! He is currently working on a few of those projects in post-production now, including a TV pilot he shot in Maine.
