Hoplandia Beer Craft Beer and cider sold from draught and bottles. We fill growlers! Hoplandia is a new bottle shop and tap house located in the heart of St. Johns.

We feature 12 rotating taps of beer and cider, as well as several wines served by the glass. We love our sports and have two 65" TVs that regularly show MLS (we love our TImbers), NHL, NFL,MLB and even the Olympics! We do not serve food, but all outside food is welcome. Order a pizza from our neighbors at Pizza Nostra and they will deliver to the bar! Open 7 days a week!

Friends, we’ve some sad news. After much heartfelt deliberation on the matter our owner has decided its time to move on from Hoplandia. We’ll be closing this weekend and Friday will be our last night. We very well may be back in a different form this summer, but this is the end of the line for Hoplandia.

This was a very tough choice for the boss because we have absolutely loved our time in St. Johns and will cherish the relationships and memories made in Hop forever, but it was a necessary one. If you’re able, please come raise a few final pints with us over the next three evenings. We’d love to have you one last time.

Just in time for 4/20, we have a special treat for y’all: Nug Jug IPA, a collab from and .sea! This delectably crisp brew contains hops that have the same flavor and taste profile as the terpenes in the extremely popular w**d strain Dutch Treat, which means you’ll be experiencing hazy, eucalyptus aromas alongside fruity undertones.

Sadly, the nuggets are not included with your purchase, though it’d be a lot cooler if they were.

Like all good people, we’re big fans of The Velvet Underground and Lou Reed, so we’re quite pleased to currently be featuring not one but two beers that reference Saint Lou. We have the lovely Sweet Jane IPA from —which owes its title to the classic track of the same name from the VU’s album Loaded—and the light but deeply flavorful Hit Me With A Flower from and —which takes its name from the Lou solo track “Vicious” off of his classic Transformer record.

Fun fact: the “Vicious” lyrics sprang from Andy Warhol, who, according to Reed, said, “Why don't you write a song called 'Vicious'?” And when Reed asked what kid if vicious, Warhol responded: “Oh, you know, vicious like I hit you with a flower.” Pretty cool! For more fun Lou Reed biographical facts, swing by the shop (and also snag these tasty brews).

(Also included: Saint Lou’s lyrics for his song “The Power Of Positive Drinking” because we believe in that as well.)

Our cider and wine cooler is looking extra sharp these days thanks to delectable new offerings in the form of ’s Cherry Blossom, Prickly Passion and Dry ciders; as well as the Right ’s legendary Saint Citron! And yes, we are, finally, stocked to the gills with white wines. And as you can see, these wines are quite literally begging you to take them home.
