Born and raised in the 503, and now based in LA, YUNG BAE is a pioneering sampler, producer, and songwriter of future funk, nu-disco, and vaporwave sound. Each new Bae record carves out its own unique world, touching on everything from nu-disco to Japanese city-pop. These largely sampled grooves — obscure and otherwise — manifest as undeniably vintage sounds presented in gleaming, modern electronic trappings.

Countdown to REΛLM-IVERSARY Weekend:

Straight from Mr. Smiles’s personal vault — Take a look at some NEVER BEFORE SEEN behind-the-scenes pics from before we opened the doors to our portal. 🪞🌀

Before there was REΛLM, there was a blank canvas. Those white walls carried a history of their own, but they were waiting for something new. Waiting for artists, dreamers, dancers, and the people of Portland to come together and breathe new life into the space that’s now uniquely REΛLM. 🏛️🪽

What was once an entirely different space is now an inter-reality portal filled with incredible memories and designed for adventures in sound. Peoples’ first shows, late nights, new friends, unforgettable moments, and countless stories still being written.

As you scroll through these photos, take a moment to reflect on just how far we’ve come and continue to evolve as a space and community. We’re constantly making upgrades, adding new features, and creating new reasons to step through the portal. And it’s all for our favorite scene in the world.
