Love & Squalor Wine You like-a the wine? We make-a the wine. In 2007 Portland Wine Company released 65 cases of wine. In 2015, we released 2,800 cases. With your friends.

We’ve grown steadily and are eager to share our wines with you. And with everyone you know on Facebook. We start with the belief that wine needs to taste alive. The best way to ensure this is to let the grapes express themselves. We’re happily positioned in a new world, younger growing region so our wines won’t resemble what comes from Europe or California. Flexibility here is key, as conditions i

n the volatile Pacific Northwest change with each harvest. Just as wines vary per region, wines from the same region shouldn’t taste the same each year. We strive to present those with a unique personality, personality that includes authenticity (or, honesty) in each vibrant sip. The Willamette Valley blends are all about the fruit—after all, winemaking is all about preserving the fruits of the harvest. Our WV Pinot smells sweet and inviting like freshly picked strawberries or cherries. Our WV Riesling seduces with scents of juicy peaches or bright sprays of lime and always finishes bright and dry. Both of these favorites are built to drink today. The Pinot rests for 18 months in older French oak before bottling giving it ample time to relax and grow into its early maturity. The Riesling ferments low and slow in order to preserve the delicate aromas and fragile flavors in the finished wine.

A great way of celebrating is tasting through wines that Portland has to offer! The PDX Urban Wineries Experience has been going strong for 15 years (maybe more?). This year we are packed with 15 different wineries for you to taste through (and purchase). Get tickets now because the price is going up on Friday ( ). Price includes ASH STREET pizza, and tasting! Also, a portion sold of every ticket is donated to the PRIC (Portland immigrant rights coalition)

2024 Pinot Noir | Bijou

The Bijou - the gem of our cellar - asserts itself lucid and gleaming. It comes on
strong and dark - coating spice and dense fruit flavors. But it isn’t just swagger and power, because it’s a wild thing, a living thing, a swirling dervish of citrus oils and cherry cakes, of energy and tension trapped, lingering, sparkling, then gone. The vines in this bottle were planted in 2001 on the southern slope of the vineyard. Slightly shaded by a fir grove at the nadir, allowing the birds a clear vantage of the ripening grapes and adding a welcome non-uniformity to the maturation of the fruit.
