IT’S HAPPENING. IT’S ACTUALLY HAPPENING. FRESH. HOP. SEASON.

Our first freshie of the year drops TODAY and we’re kicking things off with one of the all-time greats:

CENTENNIAL FRESH HOP IPA!!!

We got our hands on a big ol’ pile of ridiculously fresh Centennial from our pals at Crosby Hops and did the only reasonable thing — threw a whole bunch of it into some beer as fast as humanly possible.

And now? Ohhhhh buddy.

Bright citrus. Sticky pine. Fresh-cut green stuff. Dank little wafts of September magic. All those fleeting, beautiful, straight-from-the-field flavors that make us lose our damn minds for a few glorious weeks every year.

It’s fresh. It’s here. You should drink it NOW.

IT’S FRESH HOP SEASON!!! 🍻
Our most favorite time of the brewing year officially kicks off TOMORROW with the release of the first of FIVE fresh hop beers headed your way!

CENTENNIAL FRESH HOP IPA — DROPS TOMORROW!
The first freshie out of the gate, brewed with gloriously fresh Centennial hops from Crosby Hops. Bright, citrusy, piney and about as fresh as beer gets.

FRESHTOBERFEST
Our Oktoberfest lager gets the fresh hop treatment with fresh Tettnang hops from Goschie Farms. Crisp, malty, snappy and fresh-hopped — because Oktoberfest and fresh hop season happening at the same time is something worth celebrating.

BLACK RAVEN x GIGANTIC FRESH HOP IPA
Two breweries. Two brew days. Two hop farms. One very fresh beer. Brewed with our friends at Black Raven using fresh Strata from Coleman Agriculture and Westwood Farms.

SODBUSTED SIMCOEZILLA FRESH HOP IPA
Last but certainly not least, Sodbusted returns! A big ol’ blast of fresh Simcoe hops straight from Lakeside Ranches.

AND… SURPRISE! We snuck in a fifth freshie this year.

SASSY THORA — DRAFT ONLY
We took Sassy Pony and dry hopped it with fresh Thora hops from Crosby Hops, transforming our little pale ale into Sassy Thora, the Fresh Hop Explorer!

Fresh hop season comes but once a year, and we intend to make the most of it.

It all starts TOMORROW with Centennial Fresh Hop IPA.

The Gigantic Record Show is back!

Join us at Gigantic Brewing on Saturday, September 12th from noon–4pm for an afternoon of digging through crates, drinking beer, and finding records you absolutely did not know you needed.

This time around, we’ll have at least 13 record vendors bringing thousands of records spanning all kinds of genres — rare finds, classics, deep cuts, cheap thrills, and plenty of surprises.

IT’S FRESH HOP SEASON, BABY. 🍻

That magical time of year when we drop everything, drive out to hop country, grab some absurdly fresh hops, race them back to the brewery, and immediately throw them into beer.

Today’s ridiculously aromatic green goodness: Strata, fresh from Westwood Farms, destined for our Fresh Hop Collaboration IPA with our pals Black Raven Brewing.

They smell incredible. The brewery smells incredible. Our clothes smell incredible. Everything smells like hops.

More on the beer tomorrow. For now, please enjoy this brief moment of peak Oregon beer season. 💚

Sunshine Superstar IPA is our super-fresh, super-bright IPA loaded with Amarillo, Citra, and Chinook hops for big blasts of citrus, dank fruit, and all-around sunny goodness.

It’s crisp. It’s hoppy. It’s basically summer in a can.
