Montavilla Brew Works is a ten-barrel brewery nestled within a former auto garage that also houses a beautifully renovated taproom with the brewhouse in full view. This friendly neighborhood brewery offers Pacific Northwest-style hoppy ales, seasonal lager beers, barrel-aged strong ales and very small batch experimental brews. Aside from the cozy and intimate taproom, MBW also boasts a spacious outdoor beergarden that is covered, heated and smoke-free. Outside food is always welcome and beer is available to go in cans, kegs and growlers.

YESSSS! This Friday night, Oct 2nd, the kind folks with Beacon Rock Band are back with bluegrass, Americana, blues and down-home, feel good acoustic jams! It’s always a good time with these folks and koreanwagon.pdx FOOD TRUCK will be parked on SE 78th as well. Those guys don’t play around when it comes to kimchi, so if you haven’t tried them yet, this Friday looks picture perfect for great food and music! 🍚 🎶

This is how we do a staff outing at MBW! The weather was picture perfect for a brilliantly clear day on the mountain and as usual, Mama Nature did not disappoint! 🏔🌲

Between the mountain hikes, spawning salmon runs (we saw a bunch!), river walks and checking out our favorite watering holes, Mt. Hood and it's environs were just what we needed for a recharge. 😌

This crew is one of the finest anywhere! (We missed you Ryan & Melissa!) 😉✌️

This week, we made good on a promise that started with MBW's 11th Anniversary Plywood Pilsner. In collaboration between Mr. Plywood and MBW, a donation of 1K in matched funds has gone to support the Friends of Seasonal and Service Workers! 👊

These funds will help FSSW in their fight to improve living and working conditions for our lowest income communities. These funds help to provide emergency food, clothing and preventative medical care for low-income workers while seeking long-term change. 🙏

Big thanks to our neighbors at Mr. Plywood for collaborating with us on such a meaningful endeavor. The times we're living in are very tough, but when community comes together on a unified front, we think positive change is inevitable. And that's a beautiful thing. ❤️

YESSSS! MBW’s 4th annual DEADTOBERFEST returns on Saturday, September 19th for an ALL AGES SHOW! 👋✌️

The Weir Dose are back after CRUSHING the stage at this year’s street fair - man, that WAS a great show. This year’s performance starts at 6pm and as an added treat, we’ve got our head brewer Michael on drums for the night. This is always a fun night celebrating the music of the Grateful Dead and extra kind vibes. 🌹

Food pop-up by Oi! The Sausage. Bring the kids for this extra special event (we’ll also have LOTS of fresh hops for you by then!). See you at the show! 💀 ⚡️
