Oregon Wine Month is here — and we’re starting with a legend.

May 4–9 we’re pouring Ponzi Vineyards at Arden — one of the very first wineries to plant roots in the Willamette Valley. Before Oregon wine was on the world’s radar, Ponzi was there helping define what it could be.

We’re talking special vintages and limited releases you won’t find on shelves right now. This is history in a glass.

We’re so excited to share our Oregon Wine Month lineup 🍷

All month long, we’ll be spotlighting one Oregon producer each week with a curated lineup of wines available by the glass, bottle, or as an optional pairing with our seasonal prix fixe menu.
Think of it as a rotating trip through wine country—without ever leaving your dinner table.

Here’s the schedule:

🍷 May 18–23: Conur Wines
🍷 May 25–30: Martin Woods Winery

A little good news we’re proud to share: Arden was just recognized by with a Bronze Star in their International Open Awards!

Star Wine List is a global guide dedicated entirely to wine programs, judged by an international panel of sommeliers and wine professionals. This year, fewer than 25 restaurants and wine bars across the entire United States received an award of any level — so we’re extremely honored and humbled to be among them!

We don’t build our wine program for awards, but we will happily(and gratefully) take the nod. Thank you to our team, especially our wine director 👏🏼), to the incredible producers who supply the wines for our list and to all of you who keep showing up curious and thirsty!

Can’t wait to pop a bottle with you very soon 🥂

OPEN FRIDAY but trying to do our part…

Immigrants have built and continue to sustain this country, and collective action is how we push back against policies that criminalize, dehumanize, and tear families apart. We stand in solidarity with all those whose lives are being disrupted and harmed by ICE and the systems that enable it.

At the same time, we are a very small business, and this moment is landing during the slowest season of the year, when closing our doors on one of our few busy nights directly impacts our ability to care for our team.
Tomorrow, we will remain open to pay our team, welcome guests, and provide a safe space to gather and support one another... while also donating a portion of sales to

We hope this moment encourages people to shift spending away from companies whose values don’t align with this movement and toward small, local, and immigrant-run businesses that do.

We’re celebrating the debut of Cuvée Arden, our first-ever house Pinot Noir, made in collaboration with our friends at with a full takeover!

For one night only, the full Hundred Suns lineup will be available (and it’s your first chance to taste their brand newly released 2024 vintage!)

Grant + Renée will be in the house pouring and chatting, and Chef Erik has created a special four-course prix fixe menu to match.

🍷 Meet Cuvée Arden 🍷

After a year and a half of behind-the-scenes adventures, we are thrilled to finally announce that we made a wine in collaboration with our favorite humans at

Cuvée Arden is a Willamette Valley Pinot Noir that we contributed to as a team at key moments from harvest all the way through bottling. It was blended from three single vineyards with one goal in mind: create the perfect Pinot to live alongside our menu here at Arden.

And now we’re officially launching our baby into the world on Thursday, February 26 with a full Hundred Suns takeover! The fabulous Grant and Renée will be in-house, Chef is writing a special four-course prix fixe menu to pair with their full lineup, and of course, it will be your very first chance to meet Cuvée Arden.

Today we celebrate 🎂

Our Erik, a man who insists he doesn’t care about birthdays or presents or fuss of any kind. A man of simple pleasures yet very high taste… who loves his guitars, his kitties, his family, his partner, his skateboard, and his kitchen (which we are lucky enough to call our own).

Anyone who has ever eaten Erik’s food knows this: the man has creativity and the talent to know what to do with it. There’s discipline in his cooking with just the right amount of daring — to combine flavors we’ve never imagined that always surprise and delight.

And then there’s this, which is even more important: Erik, because you don’t seek the spotlight (in fact you shy away from it), you don’t always get the credit you deserve. In a world where the role of chef has almost been elevated to entertainer, you work quietly in the shadows. You are our steady grounding force, the one we can always turn to for kind words and a steady hand.

More important than preparing amazing food, which you absolutely do, is the fact that our whole team not only likes you, but loves you, trusts you, and looks up to you. We don’t know if you were always this great, but if these decades are any proof, it’s that you’re only getting better with time (much like a fine wine 💅🏼)

So on this milestone birthday, we wish you many decades more of enjoying excellent food (not too boring, but not too fancy), curated music ( mostly, duh), plenty of time with your guitar collection and your loved ones and, of course, unlimited

We are so glad you’re spending this big day exactly as you should: eating and drinking yourself silly on a beach in Thailand and getting a much-deserved vacation.

Happy birthday, Erik. We love you 🤍
