In case you haven't seen the news:
Bull Feeney’s Will Close Its Doors on Sunday, March 26
After 21 years serving the Portland community and visitors from all over New England and the world, we have made the difficult decision to close our doors after one final weekend of operation. We just celebrated St. Patrick’s Day for the 19th time, taking great pride in being able to bring the incredible experience of St. Patrick’s Day at Bull Feeney’s to a generation born during the year we opened.
We would like to thank the Portland community for supporting us for all of of these years. A pub wouldn’t be a pub without the lively conversation, laughter, singing, and dancing of its customers. We wish we could thank each and every one of you personally. If you stop by this weekend, we’ll make sure to.
It took many people to make Bull Feeney’s a special place. Of the hundreds of terrific employees we have had the pleasure of working with through the years, we would especially like to thank the following: Jeff, Andy, Eric, Liz, TJ, Jason, Christina, Kaelin, Ian, Angie, Kate, Oleg, Lee, Kelly, Phil, Rick, Leandra, Ben, Laura, Reesa, Wayne, Rachel, Steve, Joe, James, Dan, Robbie, Evan, Rob and Missy. It is impossible to list everyone, so we apologize if we missed you.
We have had many entertainers throughout the years as well. In particular we’d like to thank Dave Rowe, Hello Newman, Jason Basiner (aka J. Biddy and now Jay Bragg), 13 Scotland Road, Jacob McCurdy and Danny, Lynn Cullen, and Port Veritas. It takes dozens vendors and suppliers to make our operation run. In particular we’d like to thank Rob from Allagash, Malcolm from Guinness, Seth from HDS NE, Marty from Bevintel, Tom from RSVP, Chris and Mike from Nappi, and Steve from National. We’d like to thank the Maine Police Emerald Society who filled our upstairs with their friends and family each St. Patrick’s Day. Finally, we’d especially like to thank Stephanie, the artist from Northern Ireland, who spent a week in 2001 designing and painting the signature artwork and calligraphy on our walls and furnishings.
We’d like to see Bull Feeney's continue. Message us if interested in ownership.
