McMenamins Oak Hills Brewpub What a beautiful brewery! Sit in comfortable indoor booths and tables or at picnic tables outside in nice weather.

But if you do sit inside, you'll no doubt want to join our regulars who love watching the active onsite brewery through the big interior windows. Oak Hills Brewpub's "Captain Neon's Fermentation Chamber" features one of the most colorful McMenamins brewery experiences, thanks to the beautifully painted fermentation tanks.

Spar Vodka and Spar Lemon Vodka have been McMenamins favorites for years, but did you know the name goes back to the water?

The water we use to distill these spirits comes from the aqueduct running through the basement of our Spar Café in Olympia!

Yep. An aqueduct. In the basement.

And that’s how Spar Vodka got its name, from Spar Cafe! We love a good weird McMenamins detail.

Fresh hop season is here! 🌿🍺

We recently held our annual Running of the Brewers, where fresh hops are picked from the farm and quite literally run straight to our brewers to be used that same day.

Why the hurry? We're making this year's batch of Thundercone Fresh Hop IPA, a b**r that's beloved, highly anticipated, and somehow disappears way too quickly every year.

It’s not goodbye, it’s Bon Jo-yage! 🫶🍻

After making countless connections and becoming a familiar face behind the bar, Jo is getting ready to head off on her next adventure.

Her last day at the pub is August 25 from 4–10 PM! She’d love to see all her regulars and anyone else who wants to stop by and send her off properly.

For nine days, we're celebrating the life, music, and legacy of Jerry Garcia with limited-time food & drink specials, Passport stamps, Grateful Dead playlists, and all-around good vibes (especially if you enjoy our THC & C*D seltzers 😉).
