We are incredibly honored to have brewed this beer in collaboration with the Portland Fire Association to commemorate 150 years of dedicated fire service right here in Portland.

The first organized firefighters in Portland, MI formed on June 12, 1876 with a total of 29 men in attendance. J.C. Cotharian was appointed as Chief and the unit became known as the Wabanah Engine Company No. 1. (Wabanah is a Native American name for "Looking Glass."
