Although Portland is replete with talented bartenders, they (and their creations) are scattered widely about the city. Consequently, we drink lovers know a night of cocktail exploration includes either Lyft fares or worn soles, and we’d absolutely hate to see that burden impede your discovery of some of the fantastic drinks created outside your usual stomping grounds.
In that ‘spirit’ Rontoms is collaborating on a drink swap with our good friends out at My-Oh-My on Sandy Boulevard, in which we concoct a cocktail exclusively for each other's bar.
We present to you “The Aubergine Flame” created by My-O-My's Nina Robinson, a tangy, autumnal, and invigorating “woo-ha!” of a whiskey drink with house-made black pepper, plum syrup, and Sazerac Rye.
In return, the crafty folk at Rontoms created a Cognac and Pear shrub seasonal cocktail called “Sleepy Hollow”. It’s a wistful, citrusy nod to the darkening days of October. It’s now on the menu at My-Oh-My. Go give it a try.
