Summer is under way with festivities! Sunday (tomorrow) Mark Shark and I will play at Nancy Mattsons beautiful residence, Monday back at the Muddy Rudder 8-10pm, Tuesday at Artichoke Music for the Portland MOJO Movie viewing and stories, Thursday, 4th of July, on the riverboat at the WFBF with the Super Group " Soul Cookin'" 3-5pm, and Satuday evening with my trio out at Club ""Five-0-Three" in West Linn. Wheeeeeew

Tonight is the night to join me and the world famous Chris Mercer on tenor saxophone at Artichoke Music Cafe 7-9pm. Chris Mercer has a spectacular history of recordings and touring with so many greats from John Mayall to Freddie King and so many more. It will be a very special evening to sit down and share our music and stories. Please join us for this one time event.

Fun weekend ahead starting with an early night at Spirits 6-9pm Tonight with my friends Denny Bixby. Mark Shark, and Edwin Coleman. Man-0-man, what a group!
Sunday will be a special acoustic duo event with Mark Shark in Mosier to be recorded "live". 3-5pm
And, back to the Muddy Rudder for "Blue Monday" 8-10pm. Love that place!

This week my mind is on rehearsing some great songs with my guest Anne Weiss for this "First Friday" Concert series at Artichoke Music coming up from 7-9pm THIS FRIDAY! It is a one time only special duet we are delighted to put together for this wonderful listening venue.

Had a wonderful visit with my ol' friend Charlie Musselwhite this week. I'll share some of the stories at my "Blue Monday show tomorrow 8-10pm at the Muddy Rudder with untold special guests as well!
Don't for get to see the new movie coming out at theaters next that Charlie is in..."Killers of the Flower Moon". An important and true story of the Osage Indians and the start of the FBI!
